Dunno if you've ever been in a proper company server room, it's really cold lol. Huge air vents etc to keep the servers cool, so it could be good to take advantage of that to add some interesting vent network overhead.
i prefered it more liten then now. It's to dark, the lighter one (before building the lights) have more contrast and feels so cold and a place i dont want to be at. the latter one seems to cosy and nice. quite the place !:P
I think shes cool, a better background would help, something subtle in a complementary colour, she just blends into the blue blobs otherwise. Also I think a backlight or fresnel effect would really sell the cold look
Yeah of course I already forgot I went for green. I'm have a cold and it's not making me any smarter ahah. More progress, and sadly won't be able to work on this guy again probably until maybe January 3rd...
Ahhh that horse icon is creepy. The painterly stuff is nice, and the warm/cold colours on the final piece are great. Maybe try defining the edges a little to get rid of some of the floaty feeling. It would really help make the images pop.

After studying the model further, and dealing with some mild common-cold.. I decided to make a blockout with proper proportions, from where I can further refine via modelling or sculpting individual parts. Goal is not bolt for bolt design. But rather a practical game asset, where parts can be modularly changed out.
Thank you for the honest feedback @pior! You're absolutely right about Waterhouse - he's not in our library yet, which is a genuine oversight. Most likely one of many, but we're adding him to the list and will report as soon as his works are up. It's a fair point that the expectation is to look by an artist name. And if…
