Nice work for the most part, instantly recognizable. Please do some cloth studies though-- for you own sake, and for the sake of all who view your work Seriously though, the cloth looks very random and floaty and could use some love.
Update: I've already sculpted his upper body, but did not put too much detail in it since the abdominal will be covered by a cloth. I'm gonna sculpt his cloth next, when i am already happy with the arm proportion.
@PyrZern Thanks I for the input the face is a little rounder compared to the concept and the ornaments on the clothing appear a bit soft like the clothing. Nice progress! @ClusterOne nice start I like your take on it can't wait to see more.
The jaw seems to take away the youngness and the ears seem a bit... long. The clothing also seems a bit too much like silk instead of sturdy cloth material. Other then that, great start, looking forward to seeing some more.
How well does this system work for various body sizes? will fat characters have tighter fitting clothes? or can we just expect them to wear baggier clothing and therefor have the same wrinkle patterns as slimmer characters?
A kind of cartoony head I'm workin on for my portfolio: I'm thinking about some clothes for him, maybe an antique style, maybe some french louix X!V clothes.. what do you think? cheers philipp
I like this a lot so far :) maybe the folds in the cloth could use a bit of tightening up? Have you tried using the damstandard brush? or one of the brushes from here http://www.selwy.com/2009/zbrush-clothes-tutorial/
e-freak: The cloth is just a plane, but its using cloth entity so its looking a little bit better when they are in movement. I might be able to use parallax occlusion the give it some extra depth or push the normalmap. bring me: Cheers dude!
Here are some more work in progress shots. I tried to polish up the noise on the hair by making it follow the big curves. Also started sculpting some detail into the clothing and her bag among other things. The clothes definitely still need some polish
