You hav e alot of noise in this scene. Not enough big shapes to relax the eyes. Its just line after line after line. Try makeing the walls simpler, less rectangle, or changing the lighting to give it a stronger focus.
Also some subdivision methods relax (like turbosmooth) and you lose a lot of volume in things like fingers and toes. Without enough geometry its easy to for those things to go from full and correct to pitchfork like in a heartbeat.
even if you know you can pause, the flashing up pics go against the relaxed, cool and measured pace of the rest of the reel and music. its not only to garner interest, its a first impression. edit: oh and the work is fucking A
This thread is only for reporting errors on individual model archive pages. Posts should read something like: The rating scores for the Quake 2 Undead Warrior don't look like all the other models'. Or perhaps: The Quake 2 models Alien and Sailor Moon have "related links" sections, but don't have "related links" headings.…
since that's the case it could also be gpu/driver related. What gpu are you using? Any issues with cpu baking such as xNormal? I took a peek at the HP in max and it looked fine for me.
You understood me wrong. Sorry, I didn't want to offend you. I mean it (relax=good mood) that meaning If you're reading my comments you must understand in my comments (not negative ways) there is no double meaning. I'm so sorry.
Here is the base mesh. Hawt, yeah I was aiming for that relaxed pose, but I was not getting the best deformation as I used Mudbox's posing tools. I am relatively new to Zbrush so I don't know if there are posing tools there.
I like the old ones as far as style. :D His chin hair has a bit too much brevity at the moment. /wink Maybe thin it out a bit? I think his face was a bit more relaxed, droopy.
Relax modifier on a selection. If that's not good, I would simply remodel it from scratch. A lot faster than fiddling around trying different tricks. You could also look for EdgeStraighten script (on my phone so can't check).
The hands man the hands! One of the biggest distractions for me when looking at character models are the hands when they aren't in a relaxed position. It's extremely difficult to make a character believable when his hands are stuck out like he is frozen!
