ok here a progression of the blockout. I changed a bit the scene to have more focus on Excalibur so I dropped the path with the bridge. feel free to comment ;)
yeah its the frame for a bridge with windows, I am doing it in modular pieces. I then probably have to make a light map for it to since it's being put into udk
It looks awesome! I personally don't understand that kind of castle design (with bridges and towers in the middle of air) but you did a great job with the picture´s composition.
Well, I found if you introduce the bridge vertex tool (zmodeler), and make the diagonals, then u can stitch and make a traditional corner resolve/edge termination:
I want to believe that we level artist somehow bridges the gap between designers and artists with "Visual Design" or something fancy like that but maybe that's just me ^^
