...the issue im having on maya 2014...I'm using the fbx for an ivy and applying the albedo and transparency but for each plane instead of just showing the leaf theres a semi-transparent outline. I'm clueless on this as i've just started learning to use and make plants. Thanks, Scott
Thanks guys for the tips!! In the end, was 3ds Max problems... I was using 3ds Max 2013 but when pass to 2014, the viewport showed the exactly same problems of the game, so I've solved the smoothing groups issue and done... There is the result. What you guys think??

I use Maya 2014 to unwrap. The only plugin I use, for UV mapping, is Nightshade's UV Editor. Its has some amazing tools that I couldn't live without. Once you get a good workflow down, there's nothing wrong with Maya's UV tools..
Saw the Zbrush 2014 summit, and I got inspired to try a portrait of a famous person. I'm still refining the second level details, so it's going to be quite a few more hours before I'm sculpting in wrinkles or pores or anything. Could I get some critique on it?

which maya version are you on? if our using 2014 or above there is the modeling toolset built in which has a toolbar that includes most modeling operations, as well as a few modified tools to offer things like pinch control on the connect tool like max users are accustomed too.
