I couldn't resist to try out some more fancy stuff before I continue pimping the cornell box. Here is a ray marched skylight with multiple samples. Runs nicelly. I get around 120 fps with 32 samples per pixel.
storm3: I wasn't complaining, just want a way that can help to pin point bugs easier. Surely you can make a new set of hot key customization and put it in the Community Help section http://voidworld.cmcproductions.co.uk/index.php/board,3.0.html
Free if you're a hobbyist - see Terms of service: Free for startups (under 100K), hobbyists and enthusiasts (using the service on a personal basis that is not for commercial, professional or for-profit use). Otherwise $300/year (standard) or $1500/year (ultimate). For commercial use, MoI is much cheaper.
@BlvdNights - Yeah I drew inspiration from, voodoo, witchdoctors, shaman, native american art, Diablo, and Xerxes (from 300) I do need to get the accessories figured out though but the fact that I'm a huge Blizzard fan I appreciate the comment :)
Same feeling here... although 3d coat 3.0 had baaad paiting bugs too, but after 3.5 things got way better. It's really smooth with a 2048 texture, it's a matter of not getting really big size brushes, but even photoshop is the same way.
Hey dont feel so bad, I purchased the commercial version which at the time was around $300 before they changed their license for the non commercial to be used commercially. Its the nature of how things work, good company though, good people. Its worth it.
What do you say about the witcher 2? I have no idea how big it is, how much quest and ai and all that shit there is. But that game looks fucking pretty! Compare skyrim and witcher 2, skyrim is shit. Then, CD projekts are ~300 people.
this basically. just don't buy ram from apple, they overcharge it a lot. "A 2880x1800 pixel display would have a density of about 220 pixels per inch at a 15.4" size," hating apple rn, my 15" mbpro is less than a year old :<
Someone found a face in Halo 4 as well, in the hangar at the start of level 6. Although he's some kid and didn't recognize it ;) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gEwGrseLNY&feature=player_detailpage#t=310s You probably want to turn the sound off though...
Just before fear 2 shipped monolith was at 120+, post fear 2 we lost 30+ people. Then we added two other studios of 60+ but laid off 20+ per studio. Then last year 70+, and now 60+. That's just the layoffs...
