I don't see anything really to hint that it's Princess Peach... other than the fact that it's in your title. Where's her little crown and that jewel thing on the front of her costume? It looks like a regular biker chick, which is great, but you're going to have to work some obvious details in there to get your audience to…
Cool ! I like the cement, it's so simple but it works great on the bricks and looks good on the church. It helps to read the whole building a lot. One critic though : You have painted a very strong specularity on your bricks which gives to your texture almost a metallic look. I would darken the spec a bit and add some thin…
If I'm being honest I like both your options, you could either go with a 'street rat shady merchant' type character or something more battle hardened like what you have going with the armor. If it was me, I'd personally go with the former, have light or no armor and have him in a top hat and long jacket, which is kinda…
This is looking really nice. It looks like a fun concept to work from too. As far as your future material definition updates go, I think you're missing some reflections in a lot of the surfaces(glossy wood, on the floor, glass, etc.) Don't forget to mask the reflection with Fresnel on some of the surfaces so the reflection…
The pose is looking better and the textures as well, nicely done! I was going to say I wish the angle for his smaller gun would of been placed better to show it's form but you already fixed that in the latest image so props to you! I wish you could do something about the leg as it looks like he could of used just a few…
to throw in my two cents, being in both scenarios where i was called nigger as a racist term and nigger in my brother type, it is simply a word. this is something ive never understood but i guess it depends on the person. growing up black i fully understand the history behind it, but i just dont see a point getting…
Hey basic. Great job on this scene. Has really come through. I do have some crit. I think you lighting is better in the latest post, and it definitely seems much more unified. Though I almost like post #23's more! I think you lost alot of your color which I preferred much more over the primarily brown scene in the latest…
no worries mate, sorry i should have been more clear.... directly in the center of your image, you have like a wire mesh door right at the back of the garage looking directly onto the horrizon/nothingness... block this up with some cool shutter door as if it was a real garage to let cars in and out. the wiremesh seems abit…
To be honest, the normal maps are hardly noticeable. Diffuse converted normals aren't great for much other than details of which there is not a whole lot of to begin with. If you do want to use normal maps, I suggest creating real high res source models with more details to bake from and then doing your PS/NDO stuff on top…
Ehh, I don't remember in which video Kingslien mention that part. I'm not saying drawing is useless to 3d modeling. Though I wouldn't say it's essential either. I think drawing develops/requires certain skills. And (some/all of) those certain skills are useful to 3d modeling. If one can develop those skills via drawing,…
