I think the real interesting thing is that it's only 15 bucks. Pretty damn cheap compared to things like Crazybump and nDo. Would like to see how easily it integrates into programs like photoshop.
Go into tools and use ray distance calculator for like 10-15 seconds, copy the results and then try to bake. As perna said, you'll get less desirable results if the angle is exactly 90 degrees.

Having tested that kind of peripheric, i garanty you can't hold it more than 15 minutes. Your hand needs a support to rest your arm and be precise. Could be intersting for bodybuilding tho.
Have you thought about a laptop cooler, something like this - Mind you, this particular one is good only for laptops with 15" of smaller screens. It'll certainly keep your laptop much cooler.
