*cough* Lots of info across the board in there. Now for movement what you are talking is taking keyboard input, assuming you have an input handler class, and instructing the game engine to update the player entity's world position x units (coresponding to its speed per second divided by update time) along a vector facing…
I mainly asked the question cause the project I'm helping with. We are using a heavily modified quake engine. So basiclly all the bad poly placements and flows shows up on the low poly and local. A lot of the effort has been going into knowing how to do fix up the low poly so it will look good in game and I very often…
A master's degree will do almost nothing for you in the game industry. Within weeks, you will learn as much on the job as you would have after spending years in school. There are more good, knowledgeable artists in production than there are in a scholastic setting. Personally, if someone advertises the whole master's…

@Donato At this point I think the scale looks pretty close to me! You might try raising the focal length on the camera you're using though. The concept seems a bit flatter and you should be able to achieve that look by increasing the focal length and pulling the camera back a bit. Might make it easier to compare against…
i think there needs to be more contrast in the scene to make things pop. seems kinda washed out right now. also you should try putting more props around the focal point. this will help make the focal point stand out and make the scene more interesting. as it stands right now its a little empty
When projecting normals, they get influenced by the location of your low polys vertices. So, if you want your normal map to be a bit more accurate you would add a loop at the horizon location of all of those nut floaters and then rebake, and they will come out good looking as their normals are pulled towards the new…
I'd say try to keep everything in one location, I don't know about this issue but I just click the X and It asks me if I want to save my packages, or if I didn't save them already, I always click yes. Good luck though. By one location I mean one folder.
