The top of pillars seem to be result of low distance field resolution. Try increasing it for the pillar and see if that solves it. And yes HDRi Maps are ok. You can even save any picture/texture as 32Bit HDRI and use that. The whole point is to get some IBL which solves the DFAO artifacts as well. You can see the… -

Figure out how you learn best. I know that for me I learn the most just diving into a project and learning as I go. As Richard said, I think programming is also just an extension of problem solving and thats where you learn the most. Solving problems :) Writing regular programs for stuff you know is boring (IMO atleast :P) -

I tried the 2024 and 2025 versions and the problem was not solved. The problem is that I import cameras from Image Modeler and they are initially at an unknown angle relative to axes xyz. Hey FEMTO, Your post is pretty old, but I was just experiencing the same problem. Here's how I solved it: Rather than unzipping the zip file, I renamed the extension to .mzp, and then dragged it into the 3ds Max window. It was able to install this time. Re: Objects vanishes in Maya.
Used to have this happen in Max years ago, re-applying / refreshing the invisible objects material would solve it temporarily. My guess back then was that Max needed more VRAM, and was simply swapping data out of VRAM haphazardly to deal with it. -
