also why 5 channels that seems like over kill. channel 0 could bring tileing detail, channel 1 local detail(ao, cavity), than channel 2 for lightmaps why would you needle more than that? -

@rexus if you didn’t modify the Program Files directory you don’t need a fresh install. Just go to C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax and rename toe 2017 folder to 2017.old. This will reset all the setting. -

It's helpful that your friendly local Suite product manager grew up on Microsoft Flight Simulator in the 90s. :) I'd look up information on how to develop addons for FSX. Custom scenery and aircraft model tutorials will likely work 100% with P3D. -

I don't quite get it... shouldn't there be a local internet story in Spain where you can buy a laptop via bank transaction? There are really only disadvantages if you buy a laptop from the US via paypal compared to buying it in the EU. -

Vase is most of the way there now I think, still need to tweak materials and such. I'm still not sure i've captured the iridescence properly, but without being able to go look at it again (being on the other side of the world) I may just have to settle.
