kio, this works great! No seams in the output. Only mistake is left and right are swapped somehow. It would be nice if the names were to the 3ds Max standard, because Max will auto-load all six if you feed it the _UP first, but it won't auto-load them with your naming convention (have to load each one individually). -

I had the exact same thing. Until I would start a game or app that used that final b it of ram, it was fine. Another symptom of bad ram is that the crashes always tend to produce different random error messages. It's kind of the best and easiest kind of hardware problem, just swap the stick out and you're good again. -

thats what I thought it would be good for too, baking textures, you could bake the vines but I havent found a way to project alphaplanes. if you could swap the individual leaf textures for clusters of leaves and run the program at lesser iterations then maybe you could get a decent framerate out of it, apparently the vines… -

My idea was that your viewer would create a new shader based on the user's choices,. You could simplify the permutations by always including every pass in the shader, and simply swapping the inputs around, adding blanks where the user doesn't specify a bitmap. man, don't let r13 fool you. As you notice, that picture is a variety of pictures stitched together. He just took pictures of random desks out of catalogs and magazines and put them together to put forth the image of a viable workplace. He actually works out of a closet next to a sewage drain.
