I tend to sketch at church at Reality LA. The book I use is a 1.5 inch thick, half of a 11 x 8.5 per page book. Standard paper as far as I can tell. Keep in mind, PS3/360 lasted as long as they did because they used crazy architecture. 360 had unified shaders that wasn't possible on PC until the Radeon 2900 came out in 2007.
