Good progress @baraa_odeh! Here are a few things I'm struggling with here: 1. Aerial perspective, mist, water and sky I think you are missing the fact that they are all the same. The sky is "blue" because there are water droplets in the air refracting the incoming light. And both mist and general aerial perspective are an…
I still need to paint in some spots where the chains meet with the cauldron, and probably mess with the highlights around the rim. Not too worried here since it will be engulfed in flames but I'll still touch it up a bit.
here is another go at the lighting. I tried to make the flames glow more. I also used Post Processing Volumes to get the greenish and reddish look. I also changed the sky to a lighter one.
Coming along nicely! I really like the lighting format in the concept but im also really liking the new redder one. It throws it off not seeing flames though. Really looking forward to seeing this progress
I'm with you Daz, she's hot. Well worth a quick google. I've googled old flames before, doesn't usually work though since they usually marry off to some schlep with a different name.
I like the flames on his shinguards and forearm guards. The grafitti on the suit seems a little over done. Could use some more colours added to the suit. And that pinstrip background is going to give me a seizure
Hey @spacefrog can you re-upload this script? The d/l link is dead. I was just testing out some of the fancy viewport features like bloom, SSAO, etc. and it'd be nice to be able to save out some animations with it. The vanilla Make Preview tool ignores custom viewport settings, unfortunately. Also would be great to save…
I'm blind! But yeah, turn down the exposure a little. Or, a lot really. EG (Note, the candle flames shouldn't be white either! Candles don't look white when you look at them right? Well same goal here)
@Nobiru: I think SPL4tt was referring to Motenai's Priestess of the Divine Flame set, which makes use of the white color as well. I'm very interested in how you achieved that 'net' on Venge's hair. How did you sculpt it?
I was even thinking about a flame war. I personally enjoy Mudbox myself over both zBrush and especially 3D Coat. Mudbox requires the user have good knowledge of traditional modeling workflow then sculpting in the program is wonderful.
