With any luck you have either A) a backup or B) a lot of polygroups. for head to body just dynamesh both and then merge down. If that is messy, I suggest you put it into max, weld the mesh, make a highpoly with both parts and reimport the lowest sub-d with the fused lowpoly. If you polypaint it, changes are, you gotta cut…
HitmonInfinity: Thanks jhoythottle: Thanks, yeah I still need work on her face it's still just a dynameshed mesh since I never intended on going as far as I did. Yup the hands and hair are definitely rough, I posed the the hands and didn't touch them afterwards and the braid was just a quick job. Not trying to make…
subdivide the model. or use sculptris pro which subdivides only the brush radius, increasing resolution with decreasing radius. at some point you'll want to learn about dynamesh as well. and dynamic subdivision may be useful to know about too. zbrush works different from other 3d apps. I'd recommend following some intro to…
@JoshuaG: yea i know where your are coming from, it would be much cooler - sorry for the disappointment :( @OctoKube: nah my anatomy knowlage and sculpting of it isn't at the point where i could start cutting corners, so i'm doing everything from scratch (zshperes and dynamesh) for every project - it's a good practice i…
This panel loop tutorial on the pixologic site was pretty cool. http://pixologic.com/zclassroom/homeroom/lesson/panel-loops/ Your needs should probably dictate what approach you take though, Zbrush may work for what you need using Dynamesh or ZRemesh or whatnot but as Ravenslayer said it may be more useful to look into a…
December 19 Realistic wood study, and then a stylistic paint-over Gene Starwind's Caster from the anime series Outlaw Star. I will be turning this into a portfolio piece so I'll be working on this for the next few days. Currently I just have a general blockout of most of the parts, no complex dynameshing or sculpting just…
Dumping time. All of these are sculpted with dynamesh. Only the skull was done using reference. Skull study. It's getting better, I guess, but not good enough yet. Weird jaw, and I didn't do the teeth properly. They're all front teeth. Some fat guy. I don't know. I wanted to make a distinct upper lip. A man. Aaand an angry…
I wasn't really aware that GoZ messed up UVs, I probably wouldn't notice because I don't really use UVs on my high poly especially at that stage and I use dynamesh a lot. Sorry to say that I don't have a solution, because GoZ also gets rid of any polygroup data, and I couldn't figure that out either.
Beauty shot so far. Loin cloth is just a dynamesh placeholder for where I was sort of thinking the direction I wanted it to head. Any and all crits desperately wanted here. Specifically towards gear. What does he need? I feel that he's uncivilized, but needs more to cover him than a piece of cloth to at least show some…

I want the text to have some scratches where white color will be worn/scratched and bottom color(green) will show. I tried applying mask on text…
