I’m a 3D modeler specializing in fantasy weapon design, inspired by the style and aesthetic of the Final Fantasy universe. Among my recent works are: * FAN ART of Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood – Spirit Weapon series (KomainuShield) https://www.artstation.com/artwork/4N9Wl2 * FAN ART of Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood –…
Those AAA Chars does have a lot of Rigging and Blendshape goin on op top. If you do a Portfolio Char you go for the best looking Still Frame. I would grab a Game you like and search for wirefame shots and mimic those. There are a lot different ways todo topo.
For me it's Feng Zhu, hands down, indeed there's no doubting his prodigious talent spanning the entire breadth of the entertainment scene from AAA games too cinematic tentpole releases for over15yrs or so, in fact his clientele practically reads like an industry whos who. http://fengzhudesign.com/gallery_page_16.htm
the concept art is simpler than i imagine! im not saying is not good, in fact its awesome and effective design. not many AAA games dare to touch non mainstream art style like you guyz, me salute!! i hope brink can bring more variation of game audiences.
A Mech I did for an Art Test a while back, I hope you guy like, it was for a AAA studio in USAI was given 3 weeks to complete finished in 2 weeks 2 - 4k maps 20k tris Rendered in Marmoset Toolbag 3 Artstation Post: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/1GOYK
And if people dont buy the games, the studio wont get the chance to make another game. I agree with nrek. Also, have you any idea what the cost of developing this DRM is? and the cost of developing an AAA-game like Assassins creed 2? The development cost of the DRM is nothing in comparison, so.. no.
And how many call of duty sequels did you work on? One could argue the other way around, an indie title is much easier plannable because in general it is a much smaller undertaking. Of course this doesn't apply, but don't underestimate the amount of creativity and work needed to finish the next AAA sequel.
B1|| is a very good artist but I have seen some very average stuff on the front page at Cgtalk so I don't think it should be held as some kind of great artistic achievment although his models were AAA some of the work that makes the front page is hardly in that category .
Your best work for sure is the hi res lindermen model. That is some AAA quality work you should push that and make a bust out of that. Otherwise you have some proportion issues to work out on most of your characters. The woman you made has more of a mans face proportions.
Thanks! Sadly carbonmade doesn't seem to support saving to drive. It sucks but I really don't have the time to set up a own domain just now, anyone have any other suggestions similar to carbonmade where pictures can be saved? The portfolio is aimed for 2D/3D Mobile and not AAA.
