Difficult to say but I'd guess 70-80%. The way I worked that out was by loading up the map with the content missing and seeing all the white and error models. It'd be good to have more maps especially when Valve releases the workshop which they recently announced is being worked on so go for it!
Movable skylight produces DFAO, Stationary doesn't. So by using a cubemap in PPV you can get rid of the DFAO artifacts when your skylight is Movable. Take a look at "Lighting and rendering" part of this article for AO stuff. https://80.lv/articles/rendering-scanned-vegetation-in-real-time/
I'm not even sure what you mean about gama, you mean gama corrected textures? Whats the mean of your dif texture? Make sure they're around 80 or so. How bright is your spec? What's your fresnel values? Are you using the vegetation shader on that bush?
the last couple games I have worked on 70-80% of the assets were outsourced whereas the level artist team was about 15 people strong, placing, lighting, composing environments etc. I would focus on a couple really strong environment pieces that show: lighting, composition and texture knowledge.
holy crap! save your images as jpg's, the first image is 1.7 MB! The slowness of imageshack combined with the insane file size resulted in me having to wait a minute before the first image was loaded. Just save as jpg with a 80% - 90% compression. There is absolutly no need to save those sketches as png's
your latest update looks much better. I hear you about making it a simple weapon, rather than a level 80 epic whatever, but keep in mind, that adding interest is seldom a bad thing. Its looking great as it is, but you shouldn't rule out adding more uniqueness and flair.
I sat through as much of it as I could.... Just how long ago did they start development on the original Neverwinter Nights?!?!?! I saw some games in there I used to play back around the late 80's and early 90's. o_O Like the old AD&D games.
+1 to what Zio said! 2-3 high quality props and a little diorama (still high quality) would set your portfolio apart from A LOT of applicants. If you can rework some of the things you have already, you could wipe away 80% of your portfolio and it would be much stronger for it.
well, it breaks it down as well. if you look at "Audience - Behaviour - Engagement" on the left hand side, it tells you how many people stayed for how long, if you hover over the bar for any number it gives you the percentage. so for example, ~80% of people were on my website for less than 10 seconds!
