re: maya mode don't have the details, sorry. We based it off Switcher, but we did not do 100% of Switcher because we were focused on integrating it as much as possible. re: bugs Don't have a list handy. 400 were fixed, I hope yours was. re: vertex snap Let's hope the docs reveal all.
I'm not aware of all the details (I'm not installing Linux until Ubuntustudio is released) but at least maqs can work at same amount of polies in Linux with 256 MB that I can get in Windows with 2 GB of Kingston HyperX 400 MHz. Linkey Haven't tried LetterRip's suggested tricks though, I might get a bit higher too.
Do you have anything I don't have? I know i'm missing a few. FYI all this only took 6 non-stop hours in an ordinary day. Seeing as Quake2 had the most models on the site (near 400) I believe most of the hard rescuing is done. The other games had 100 models or alot less.
I watched the same thing. They do seem to listen a bit, too bad it really doesn't translate into anything dramatic for the end user, for every bug they fixed in 2010, a new one must've appeared. I've seen so many crashes with 2010 among the students at school, I find it hard to believe they fixed over 400 issues.
Thanks ramucho. I did use the pinch tool on the arm and i'll be messing around seeing how to use it more effectivly as time goes on. God I love normal maps. 400 tris. [edit] Textured it too heh. I'm happy with it. [edit] seems photobucket is going up and down so i moved my images.
Hi Folks, Ive started a new project with the goal to create something that I can do a paint job with in Substance Painter as Ive yet to learn the tool. Ive modelled the Ultramarines Stalker Hunter from Warhammer 40K. Currently, the high poly version is done. Next I will create the low poly version and then onto…
hey, maybe you just have to check explicit normals when importing your mesh. Also these links may help you. http://www.zspline.net/blog/modo-401-to-unreal-part-i/ http://www.zspline.net/blog/2011/07/25/exportlayer-v1-3-for-modo-501/ http://forums.luxology.com/topic.aspx?f=37&t=41509
They are both 226CW SyncMaster, which are supposed to be better than the BWs... I was told... something about the panels used. But yeah I was totally stoked when I saw some refurbished ones on ecost.com for $135 a few weeks back. You cant tell the difference between the refurbished one and the original one that I paid 400…
On Firefox, i get a 404 on the link with the blackslashes. Not really a big deal anyway. I got a little time to spend with Acropora, very powerful and speedy. I don't do a lot of environment work, but I think this would be a great tool for adding high frequency grunge type materials like corrosion. Going to play more later…
Well, the tricount of the hi res is over 40k. But here is the low poly one with wire. As you can see it's 2626 tris now, but I'm a noob in maintaining a low polycount and I also wanted to add the bolts and screws to the low poly (which would be like 15-30 tris each). and below a higher res hi res :)
