Yeah, I'd almost buy a PS3 for this game... but not too sure. I'm not even sure I want to buy another console again. I don't use my 360 enough game wise. I only really use it for Netflix/Hulu.
On a side note, when you install games on PS3, does the disc still spin or does it read everything from the HDD? (Can you even install all your games?) The 360 got incredibly quiet after they let me do that.
Yea that is true! But I find it incredibly tough to figure out some of the angles on the anatomy, what I like is the sculpts give 360 view (like some of those sculpts) I'd love to know about any resources that do this for a regular person
It's on it's way to my PS3 :) (Already got SSF4 on 360, thought I'd try and use a GOOD D-pad now :P) hopefully here next week! Add me on PSN: Skamberin I want to get my ass kicked :D
Much appreciate all the feedback guys. I've thought it over and in considering all the suggestions I've had as well as what I wanted to head towards, this design seemed the most appropriate alteration. Clay renders as requested: 3966 tris Unwrap, 2048:
The previews suggest that "broken" might be another adjective you could associate with it. I think you might be getting Shadowrun Returns, which is a decidedly old school turn based RPG, with the awful Shadowrun FPS that was released in the early days of the XBox 360.
What do the keys look like at the beginning and end of the animation? If they are the "same" take a look at the rotation values. I don't know how Unity does animation loops, but if the rotation values are not the same, it might flip out. (0 and 0, not 360 and 0).
If I make it look -REAL- good... IF... then I am going to do a 360/Quicktime pan around it. IF it looks great. I know the best pieces from the Dominance War do this after they win, and I think it is that little extra that adds the "sex" to it.
That's the whole point. It's satire of what usually happens to attractive women in the industry. Their Twitter description is "Objectifying men in games 365 days a year." It's a well known thing among the indie game community and many of the men featured on the site are hugely supportive of it.
So is Sony charging $100 to do something the owner can perform themselves? laaaaammmmme! Sony bricked my PS3 and wants 100 to fix it (I mean, you can fix a red ringed 360 yourself but it's significantly more involved)
