Hello , Ijust baked my model and all went fine apart this little spot here I can't understand from what's from ... I checked uvmap and are fine, models are fine both hd and lp ... what could it be due and how can I solve it?
its ok I solved it, although the hair shader itself does not behave very well under differing lighting conditions like having a rim light just messes it up, with random white highlights everywhere
Well, who knows, and that's the whole problem isn't it ? We can theorize all we want about the motivations of this or that consumer group, but it still doesn't explain why Valve and Itch complied in such a way. Here's another not-so-great look : Valve sells Steam prepaid cards at Wallmart/Target, probably without age…
Hair cards are never rendered as transparent because of this exact issue. I not sure if its possible in maya, but you should use alpha test / cutout instead of transparency. This is how its solved in real time rendering.
Just flatten those tiny polygons. This will make the vertexnormals facing upwards, and this should completely solve the shading artifacts, because its coming from them. It works pretty much the same, as it would with a simple phong shading.
sounds like a power supply issue to me, it happened to me were it would take many many times to get to boot and occasionally bsod's and i ended up getting a new psu which solved the problem
Thanks for answer Eric, but this do not solve my problem, because my model already have repoto ( done in topogun ) also my problem was in that he is not 100% symmetrical ( like in this video ), only some parts of him.
YEEEEA! And that's the thing joeriv. I have Grayscale mode, and that can't be imported, I changed it to RGB color, and it's solved. Now I have to build the parallax Occlusion Shader, but I can do this :D Thanks guys.!
Hi ! here I have a small update. I am with some work to do and some problems to solve, but I will finish this island, im going to model the original Boat from zelda wind waker and link :)
You can change the transform modifiers to work on a single axis only. As for the mesh rolling up on the sides, setting to one axis should solve that. There other ways but I'm on my phone and can't explain without screenshots.
