Also for functionality in a game, the player's hand would be wrapped around the handle, thus making most of that awesome detail hidden. -

Update: Finished the base mesh, have baked normals for half the objects on it and generally wrapping up before it's time for texturing. -

That space between the head and the hair, is ANYONE ever going to see that angle? If not, there's no reason to fill it in. Just slap in scalp-vacuum wrapped hair. -

Yes, only cloth wrap on the handle. If you use marvelous designer you can get an awesome result in 5 min for that part. -
