If that is the case you should consider putting a bunch of thumbnails or a big collage on your index page, instead of those vague silhouettes. Put your name and contact info all the way on top. have 1 big "showcase" image and a bunch of thumbnails beside and/or under it linking to their respective pages.
Make a thread in 2D Showcase and post examples of your artwork for critique. Along with the art, briefly explain the process you're using to make the art, along with what you're struggling with. We have lots of resources here on our wiki that might help you... http://wiki.polycount.com/wiki/Concept_Fundamentals
This is really a Technical Talk kind of subject, not really a Showcase nor a Critique kind of thing. So I'm moving it there. Also it would really help to change your thread title to include Blender, since you're seeking a Blender-specific solution. Would you like me to rename it for you?
Hey all, I'm new here and just thought I would give this challenge the ol' college try, so here's my take on the mech and a Unity Webplayer to showcase it.
Nice showcase Sebvhe. Something I would do for the moss is a world position mask that can help make it look more random :D I have a question for everyone in this thread though. How do you retopo your rocks? Whenever I try doing it, it takes forever.
Went back and did a quick blocking out, and it really helped to showcase some proportion issues. I think this is closer, gonna sleep on it and see how I feel about it in the morning. @ Bacn, yea, that's a suggestion I got and am going to try on the second round of this model. @ Ben, or what? :-)

Now i just need to model a small desert environment to showcase the character for the final presentation.
Some good points. Rescale things. Definitely need to pull the scene together with color! Thanks. AlphaVader-Stylized PBR is a different workflow, I know this is last gen. But I'm trying to showcase a hand painted skill set with this. But my next thing project will incorporate a next-gen workflow.

It's an asset i worked on for the Artstation challenge "Untamed - When Animals Ruled the World" but didn't get the chance to finish it, so here i am resuming the work. This is a semi realistic approach to the concept (which is shown…
Hi there, about time I create a sketchbook here, and to start things off, I'd like to showcase my first and most recent 3D environment piece: More to be find at: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/D5NAne (from a concept of Tuomas Korpi: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/ww2b5) I took care of all aspects, C&C are welcome!
