I'm a little confused with the legs.. They're digitigrade, but it looks as if you've stuck in one thigh, and two calves, whereas a real digitigrade actually has the original thighs and calves, but the metacarpals are extended, and they walk on their toes.…
For some other good refs Google up "Matanuska Glacier." It's an Alaskan glacier that has a very long terminus extending out into a beautiful valley, so it's very accessible for hikers/climbers and about a zillion pics have been shot of it, all differnt scales & POVs. Took some m'self years back
Posting the sculpt from all angles in hopes you guys can spot things that look off. I readjusted the proportions a bit, dropped his torso so he looks more like he's squatting and extended, bent the legs a bit differently than they were before. Back of the hair is still not finished :)
Has the foundry looked into perhaps splitting Mari off then into two or more versions with different pricing levels based on features? Like have a "Mari Basic/Standard" that just has the features essential to Game artists with everything else cut in favor of a more competitive price tag, and "Mari Advanced/Extended" that…
Looking at your settings in the image (to the original poster), your "Far Plane" isn't large enough to encapsulate the sky, but the ground box mesh is. When using the UDK template map, the sky mesh (at 100 scale size) extends ~450,000 radius from the center. Try increasing the Far Plane value to at least 500k.
Small update on redoing some of the cuts and adding red sections. I extended the top cap down on the black part. Cut all the way for those cut on the white cylinder so they they crash into the black center. I also cut the red parts out and made them separate part but still in the bend modifier.
Ok thanks to that great feedback ive made some changes :) Godzilla has been on a diet, ive made the head smaller, extended the tail and changed the posture, and made the shoulders abit bigger to support the spikes anything else that would help impove my work im all ears ... well eyes XD
I actually preferred the other design myself, however, what they meant was that you need to raise the roof higher up and extend the pillars to match it. The room looks cramped right now. Maybe even need to be wider, it's a throne room. You'd expect there to be some partying going on with awesome dinners. ^^ But really nice…
Thanks for all the kind words guys:) Quasar - Good call:) I think Ill try and address that in the texturing by contrasting value/color. Red cables against grey metal err something. If not, the geo for the cables will be separate, so to extend them out further like #2 would be easy. Thks Small update:
In about half of the references, the eyebrows are either missing or entirely covered by hair; in most of the rest, they're simply thin lines. I'd have to agree with Duck that the current thick & wide arrangement, while expressive, feels rather masculine; at the least, consider narrowing them so they don't extend well…
