Love her proportions. Are you going to render out an anim test every time you add another layer to the clothing? I'd love to see how you build up her clothing and accessories.
Hey there David, I know you said you made the original bed cloth in marvelous designer... Did you re-do it in marvelous designer as well? Did you just increase the subdivisions on the cloth?
What clothing are your referencing? Are you using wolf anatomy reference pixtures? Is this just a rough sculpt sketch? Are you separating the clothing as separate meshes? Are you using human anatomy reference? Decent start.
Brilliant, thanks! It allows me to put on clothes and have them move like the underlying body mesh as well, as I just can't get the cloth modifier to work satisfactorily when having multiple layers.
My bad...I meant breakdowns as in flats, but anyways those look great for what they're built for. It would've been nice to see more cloth definitions painted in the clothing for the mid east warriors though.
I like the new tankgirl look, but the model does not fit the clothing. It looks so very off, as if you have a poser basic looking model with wierd clothes. the technique is there but it has no character it feels flat.
I just wish they would have kept the black costume as being able to change into street clothing. That gave him even more reason to want to keep it as he didnt ever have to change clothing.
Quick update, I wanted to add some sort of organic something to the scene and quickly did this cloth. I'm no expert with Max's cloth sim so I just did a very basic drape and sculpted it out a bit more in ZBrush.
nice start! cloth and especially stylized cloth can be pretty tough to sculpt. easiest approach for this stuff is just use life reference, I wrapped a towel around my wast to see how it falls, might be helpful to try. -Woog
Same with just buying food or clothing. Dont trick yourself into believing that the way Activision treated Infinity Ward is even on the same level as what happens to people in third world country's where you cloths are made or your food is picked.
