Yer tweaked some aspects of it to give it better reads in 1st person, the original slide looked pretty boring from that view. Some wire grabs from max, still gotta optimise the gun a bit more, but this was about 1-2hrs of lpoly work

Still have my 1st generation DS that was picked up on launch. Still use it. It's ugly as hell. Nintendo will sell at cost + a little profit one would guess, as they always sell to cover costs, not to get market infiltration on hardware like Sony and Xbox

That repeating texture is too obvious. Maybe a small ledge where the 1st floor is can go all the way around to break it up (then have that dirty texture near the ground on top) I'm nt sure how you would fit the staircase into it tho. :/
1st post since the new board, I use to be forkboy...anyway... the mesh/ploly flow is really friggen good.. its just, as its been pointed out.. its more of a devil than a gargoyle.. as far as flow thogh, im througly impressed..
Yep, Mr. Kite's work deserved that 1st place. I'd have voted the same! Yours came out nicely too, Sectaurs, good work there. In fact all of the entries were fun to look at, I think this one was one of the best contests yet!
Going with the pot/cauldron, something small to get the ball rolling for 3D in 2021. Thinking of doing stylized PBR for textures/Materials. Heres the 1st blockout pass roughly camera matched as close as I could get to the concept. Will be using Blender For the modelling and Substance for the textures.
Finally! :) I'm happy to join ya in this challenge as this it my 1st one :) I'm going for the Dive Bar aswell. Not really familliar with UE/CryEngine though, so I'm thinking about presenting it with marmoset toolbag, what do you think? Good luck everyone!
