Looking good so far. Are you using the latest UDK? They put tessellation and the new terrain system into the newest version, so it should have what you need.
Due to the alpha channel system of the Anodized Multicolored style being sorta broken, i have to make the skin Factory New only. Made this pattern for the "bloody" background:
@Talon: In the Preferences > 'General' tab > 'Ref. Coord. System' > check 'Constant'. This will keep your transform mode the same across all transform tools whenever you switch it.
I was able to reproduce this and have logged it in our bug system. I'm seeing the same result on PC, so don't bother trying to find a different computer to test it on.
Hey Michael_N! My apologies for the trouble - could you list your system specifications for me, and exactly what you were doing up to the point of that error? Is it reproducible?
!00% Mari's projection system is very unique and definitely doesn't lend itself well to projecting on curved surfaces in 3D space. UV space is certainly the way to go on this.
I use Blender, any keybord without separate numpad would be useless for me as a "work" system. But the Lappy 386 is nice for ripping C64 floppies to PC stiffies.
