A quick question for you fine people working in a studio environment, or those of you who work very organized :) : “How do you manage/distribute your brushes/plugins/tools/… inhouse?” Let me elaborate. In the (small) studio I am currently working at, we (used to) distribute art resources usually just by copying them from…
Hi, so I'm throwing together a quick VFX portfolio, and have hit a wall with how to approach showing off a certain effect. Essentially, I wanna have a plasma/energy ball shooting out of a source (in this case a generic turret i modelled for demonstrating weapon fx ) with a trail behind it. I figured I could get away with…
The let's go indie argument reminds be of the South Park episode where everyone rallies against Wal Mart and decides to burn it down and shop local again. The local business booms and becomes Wal Mart all over again, and the townsfolk burn it back down to the ground having not learned any sort of lesson.

what does outsorce factory suicide rate have to do with build quality - it's on (nonexistent) chinese government labor force protection laws (also, I'm pretty sure lg, sony mobile div., or samsung don't publish their own corporate burn out/suicide rates into english media; it's all typical for asia, and apple aren't worse…
Nope isolated machine, all license and programs are local. Previous iterations of the program were fine but like I said earlier I recently jumped 3 version. I reinstalled both programs to my local SSD which is my OS drive. Its literally like the materials reload/populate every single time

Nah, multi-gizmo is handier because you set it up once and can do anything. In Max if you want to jump to local mode, you'd have to take each transform tool, then set it to local space, then do your work. And you still have to find the handles if you switch using shortcut keys...
