A single lightmap is only 1.3 mb, a couple isn't going to be too much of a memory hog. I'm creating fairly enclosed environments so 3 1024s should give me fairly good lightmap resolution. Thanks, everybody! That's the specular map. The values control how bright the specular highlights are, the color controls the highlight color, and the alpha channel controls how sharp they are. The diffuse isn't the problem, compare the Ryoka model with the Ryoka renormalized model. The latter is with smoothnormals applied to the normalmap.
