,_, I have some uh.. nice headphones. Planatronics gametron? I have some adapter dealies coming in the mail. RCA ports, or some such thing? I don't really know. It's supposed to work. Audio cords to jack, and then a female/female adapter to plug the headphones into. Thats all I've got. -

i do agree that there's something fishy with the gamestop credit stuff unless he was going to multiple branches.... but still, bringing them in with no cases.... hmmmmmmmmmm... plus, whats the point... the credit they give for games is almost highway robbery after they take them back and mark them up 5 billion percent. -

There was a "launch special" for Madden on Spike TV last night. Pretty neat. Still, I was surprised to see Gamestop doing a midnight release for a football game. :D I like sports, but I haven't seen too many "new features" in football games since it's unfortunately cornered by EA. Maybe 2009 is different. -

My girlfriend is doing a modeling promotion for WOTLK tonight. It is in Austin at the Gamestop on Research Blvd. They are going to have people dressed up in WoW costumes and shit giving stuff out. If you live in Austin you should head over there :) Go early though or bring a friend. They said they are expecting around 1300… -

The one downside, for me at least, to doing the midnight release is that when I get home everyone's already asleep so I can't play the game at a decent volume... so I have to wait til the next evening to play.... at least the local Gamestop is like Cheers, everyone knows my name and is always friendly. :) -

I dislike this trend too. However I noticed this is only at stores such as EBGames or Gamestop, smaller mall-type game stores, whereas the PC games section at Walmart, Fry's or Fred Meyer's is quite large. Downside is, that leave barely any bargain hunting through the old preowned PC games which I used to love to do. -

hahahhaa Man great post! Personally I want an FPS where I can bayonet people by shoving my controller forward. Or punch a man in the face until blood squirts all over the screen. Maybe even a minigame where you unjam your gun, or pumping a shotgun. No reason to reserve one at gamestop. But plenty of reasons to be excited.
