Day 4, low poly (4570 tri)and bake ao et normal: @juancaratino :It remind me of warhammer figurine in this render ^^ @turista :So it was feather after all... It's funny to see how different they end up
The textures on the models also need some contact shadows and/or some detail telling us that it is connected to the ground which it does not. It seems like its floating a bit. And for scale, use a measure figurine if you want as a benchmark.
Thanks for all the replies so far. To be clear, its not going to be a medal like you would usually get for a competition. It will be a small 4 inch figurine of a totem pole face. Like this... This is just an example of a Stone Statue Head I did for a project long ago, but it serves the point well enough.
I looked at a figurine, and thought "Nice Occlusio... Dammit, real life!". It's usually those simple things. And the belief that nothing can go wrong for me, after playing too much games. The belief that whatever I do I'll survive anyway, because the devs wouldn't do unfair stuff.
after clicking that link and not gettinga functional html page i made a quick google search and found out that the figurines actualy has black hair : insert fake shock sound here : but than i saw a wallpaper were she is blond :mata: great work all around tough
Pfft...cats. These German dogs make the best art pets....though sadly one did chew up my fallout 3 bobble head figurine. Sadness. Anyways meet Dojo Von Jagerheimen and Mochi Von Hagen Daz.
think about the material qualities of fabric a little deeper. seems like yours is a bit plastic like right now in it's roughness qualities. Looks like a figurine. Is it meant to be leather? Or burlap? Do you have reference you are working from?
Thanks Brian! I'll try giving it a play around. Originally I had it bigger but the official figurine and Overwatch screenshots made me think it should be smaller. Though for Heroes of the Storm, I agree bigger is definitely better! Easy tweak.
studies studies studies from a still from Aliens from a photo of some figurine from lyfe Also, i've put up a livestream channel http://www.livestream.com/jensesesfarts for my digital paints. It creates the illusion of performing in front of an audience, so it's harder to dooze off onto the interwebs. very useful. sketchbook
Awesome work, this came out really well. I think you could add a clay polish to clean up some of those rough edges inside the cracks, but in a way they sort of add character to it - like it's an actual sculpted figurine. Nice proportions. - what was your process for making the clean hexagon pattern on the pants?
