Albedo, normal, roughness, (specular) and metalness. That's 4-5 textures already. Unless it's a handpainted diffuse only, which I doubt.

Double click the diffuse layer to open it in a new window, then increase the texture size the old fashion way (image>Image Size).

I'd use a shader similar to what I've used on Sion but with a different cubemap (aligned to camera) and normal diffuse instead of fullbright:

edit: sort of got a work around by plugging the transparency file into the diffuse as well.. i'd really like to fix the problem tho :/
