I like this guy imho the bump is a too strong, also use an ambient light, I've never seen such a contrast on real skin :) don't forget the ambient occulsion of the hair! still wip :D the teeth will get a sculting pass, many details are missing and hair will be added
hey new to the site just found last week. like the things i see. here's my wip. please tell me what you think. gonna stat texturing it soon. also thinking about try to make another version thats around 1000 tris.
Another WIP. looks a litle generic still. I will go in and mess the head up a bit at some point Davision3D - the overall head shape is nice, but the eyes and nose look a litle weird perhaps the eyes are a little far apart and the flared nostrils could be toned downa little?
Nice planes, love it. I wonder what happens if I do this. Very wip just started it, but after seeing all the planes I decided to show this. I'm doing a Lamborghini Cuntach lp500. I post some more tomorrow. 100 tris I think. Alex
[ QUOTE ] Experimenting with sculpey, never sculpted anything before. Just a really rough creature/experiment to learn how it works. web page [/ QUOTE ] cool head! I always wanted to try traditional sculpting. what tools did you use? are you going to bake it? how long did it take? here is my zbrush pass on kitty wip /yeah…
Well yeah, I see what you mean, good luck anyway :D Now something new from me. Still working on the gun and keep modeling heads. While it stills too WIP I'm liking it more. well, asta la vista, back to work now...
found a little time to go on last weekend on a convention and yesterday http://images.elements-net.de/decoy/conventions/images/gallery/2008/_resized/IMG_0392.jpg @Laheen: finish him, i really like where it's heading
Thx all ! Valh : Thx bro. Your new model already kickass !! Keep us updated :) tacit math : very nice ! I really like the proportions :) Not really an update but I just saw that Davision3D was asking for a head close up so here you are. (still wip of course)
as far as exporting it for animation you might want to add a couple loops to the forarms and at least one more loop to the neck. if not, these areas will colapse upon any rolling of the bones. (this is obviously still a wip so you might've planned on doing this already) other areas look pretty good for deformation. :D
[ QUOTE ] some flats of the church i working on ...these are all wip so dont be too harsh lol [/ QUOTE ] Just curious how you are going to get normals from those flats? What is your technique for reducing the noise and getting clean molding and brick lines? The textures look awesome man.
