@iammalte Cool character, im not a fan of the proportions, but thats just my personal opinion. Seems like you nailed the pbr materials pretty good. I was though wondering about the skin as it seems pretty diffuse and bland, but maybe that was your intention as it's stylized? All the props and clothing looks pretty cool,…
Some stunning work as usual - Love the hoodied orc Kamezis and Rikk thats just insane Im assuming its not quite real time? As for me Ive finally come to the end of a project I started to learn PBR and UE4 in ... still a bit to go but here are a few shots - I know theres been a lot of hate with generic sci fi lately but its…

He's rendered in Vray, textured in Mari and I'll be compositing him onto live action footage. I've started drawing up some stuff for the next project after the…
Don't make me do that, I did some hacky SSS-tweaking to make it work (and it doesn't hold up as well as I would have liked close up). What I will say is that I ended up using traditional specular for the hair rather than PBR. For some reason I just couldn't get the gloss to play nicely with the reflectivity (even with a…
Edit: Wow ok I didn't expect these screenshots to leave Polycount. Thanks for all the replies and feedback! Really motivated now. Note that this is NOT the Unreal Engine 4, but UDK (Unreal Engine 3), which is one of the reasons why some textures might look flat (no PBR :() and the reflections unrealistic. I'm working every…
I use Zbrush for all texture sculpts, zspheres to make the branches for the texture, then make the leaf in Zbrush, Photoshop for any finishing/color adjustment. I may do breakdowns in the future, but I am pretty invested in making more art as I try to seek out my next job opportunity right now. Thanks, nice work yourself…
