@Riceart: I want to do a hand-painted character piece for my portfolio after I get done with this modular environment monstrosity. Do you have any tips? Awesome work btw :)
Here's a character that I had being working on my ''Free time'' :p I made since the concept art, 3D sculpt, low poly and hand painted texture critics and comments are welcome.
A fan skin I made of Veigar from League of Legends, the little big guy got me to gold last season so I made this as tribute to the best indisputable best character is League. Artstation
Hey! Here is my latest handpainted personal character, Crownless Red. Recently tried out a different handpainting style similar to those found in a lot of asian MMOs. Artstation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/PQ4B1
Uh, lovely stuff everyone! @ PLyczkowski: those last two characters (especially the girl) are really awesome! @ Screwonhed : that wood is simply amazing! It's looking fantastic! Some stuff I did: sand: cracked ground:
i finally have something to post in this awesome thread!! more pics here http://polycount.com/discussion/156014/cat-girl-doing-cat-thing-finished-handpainted-character-get-in-here-lol#latest
Thanks @Torch :) Yea he has some wicked concepts. I worked on one of the other characters in that link. I posted here in November but you can also see it on my artstation page if you're interested :)
I've done a quick hue shift and brought a curves effect over your character to show what i mean. Don't be afraid to do some curves and hue craziness on your handpainted looking assets btw ;)
Loving the artwork here, big fan of lowpoly / hand-painted stuff =). I don't get the chance to make much of this style anymore but here's one of my favorite older characters created for the game Dojo Madness =).
Want to share my recent hand painted character, hope you like it  I also have marmoset viewer and little breakdown in my artstation if anyone want to check it out https://www.artstation.com/artwork/NXm9J
