Hi all! This is my first post, I have been a member for some time but keep flicking between 2d and 3d, here is my latest model with hand painted textures. I hope you like it :)
My first ever properly textured model, I'm kind of new to 3D but I've decided to take it as my path as opposed to concept art, so there'll be a lot better stuff coming from me hopefully!
Forgot to post Hogger here. Thanks again to Katia for mentoring me while working on this piece! EDIT: If you wanna check it out in 3D: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/hogger-48a46ac8-aa6e-44a0-9ca5-00ca5f0781cf
Hello! I hope everyone is doing well! I recently did a 3D environment study using a concept created by Lok Du. You can also find it here on my Artstation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/xJXgqX

I think the most popular method is a combination of straight-up UV painting in Photoshop and then painting on the model in 3D Coat. Here are some great youtube tutorials to get you started on the workflow if you aren't already familiar.

Current personal project! Still work in progress, hit me with that critique! I will add some nails on the wood and some melting lava on the soil texture. Feeling happy with the current result! 3D Version: https://skfb.ly/6R6GG

Hi! Just uploading a 2D painting. Most of my work is hand-painted textures in 3D. I decided it would be fun to practice some 2D and push as much as I can. Currently studying improving lighting and flame depth to my concept art before calling this done. Sorry about the compression. ;) I'll upload a high-res on ArtStation…
