Hey now, talk of courier? How radical. Screenshots help debug problems, so post some of your wires, your skeleton (or armature I guess), and what it looks like in import. Trigger Warning: I'd really recommend against doing a courier as your first item especially if you just are beginning to enter the realm of 3d art. -

Re: LOD's and Skinning
You would usually lod the skeleton and the bone influence as well, so LOD0 might have full face and finger joints and 4+ influences, while your lowest LOD might only have up to the head joint, no roll joints etc and only the wrist joint with the hand posed in the mesh and only 1-2 bone influences. -

Unfortunately I have to use stock skeletons and animations since the pipeline I use is still limited. -

To effectively use the Void Wall you can use a Push Trap, Flip Trap, or Ceiling Mace to knock people into it. The Wind Belt weapon works too. The Void Wall is powerful because every time you knock someone into it you always get a coin, Mana Potion, Life Potion, and sometimes a Skeleton Guardian steps out of it. -
