Zac, For troubleshooting purposes, I closed the scene I'm currently fiddling around with and opened a new empty one. I imported a single asset developed by Epic themselves (I think it was a weapons locker) and lit that single asset with a single dominant direction light. Lightmass still gave me the middle finger even then.… -

I'd agree with Zac... it looks like it'd fall off at higher speeds or get torn to pieces by ice. Also... I came here expecting an average snow mobile... I am not disappointed sir, you have bested my expectations. good on you. otherwise, aside from the "cage"... it looks fine right now. -

What Zac said^ re:ambient light, you should calibrate it in the light that you're most often in. I would get one that measures brightness, contrast, and ambient light, yes. Also some of the lower end ones do not support more than one monitor, so if you're running a dual setup, make sure it does. -

That seems like a pretty inefficient way of doing it, Zac. Instead of having three pieces pegged or magnetized together, why not have two pieces, front and back, with some sort of hinge on one side and a latch on the other? It wouldn't necessarily have to be a real hinge, either; it could simply be a piece of cloth or… -

All of those brushes can Zadd or Zsub into the geometry. They won't necessarliy have a dull angle if you change the Alpha. I use the defaul square alpha for my Trim brushes 90% of the time. You will also get dull angles if you do not have high enough subdivisions with those brushes. The reason Dynamesh is smoothing out… -

Re: Improving Waviness in Cylindrical Objects
There is a trick to completely get rid of the waviness, but it won't work in every case. I made this example for one of my friends not too long ago. The second hp would do it for you. Basically you need to use the same amount of sides on the hp as you are planning on the lp. And also, what Zac saying is true.
