i think your trying to link files that aren't in your dropbox public folder, if i manually enter the urls i get the dropbox 403 error and it asks me to login. im assuming you can see it fine since your are already logged into dropbox and the files are only viewable from your account.
"[...] where the starting salary is 15CAD/hr for QA testers and 19$/hr for 3d artists. That comes to an average of 30K to 40K annually. And these are the bulk of hires, so how is the figure so inflated?" Well, this could also mean that people who are *not* QA testers and 3d modelers are much better at negotiating their…
Ok, I gathered about 50 images of Exiting bunkers from Russian, Switzerland and Poland ( and countries of the like) as Warhammer 40K . I also found out the style of architecture that I want for the Admin Buildings and such Is Brutalism. As for the energy shields, that's not really the future I'm looking for. Here is a…
Wow, how many years of experience do you need to have to charge 400$-600$/day? (edit: sorry those numbers are from the link that was given) I mean, I'm not doing freelancing but when I thought of it, I was assuming I'd charge about 10$/hr as a beginner artist. Do such prices even exist?
Have exactly same problem. Moreover the photogrammetry is capable to produce super hi -res meshes and looks like Knald is able to cope with only about 90 mil at max. While I recently did baked from in total 400 mil polys hi-res in Xnormal. Took forever to bake and I hate Xnormal for that.

Interesting thread is interesting. Just out of curiosity, do pixologic ever have sales on zbrush? A workmate says he bought zbrush when he found it online cheap. I think if I ever find a copy for $400-500 I'll have to pick it up. (especially when the Australian dollar is kicking ass)
I never thought about looking into educational versions. Good call. As for testing it, I did do the demo, and thats all fine and good. Really tho, ive done demos of games plenty of times to find out the final product was ass. For 400 bucks, I want more than a 10 mins demo =)
I suppose the realism then will be given more by the new rendering techniques then by the high poly meshes, even because 40K triangles are jet close enough to obtain a good realistic shape with a proper tesselation. Anyway Do you know where to take information about the polygon count for cinematic character? I'd like to…
