I almost forgot about how fucking terrorible that comic is but then you had to post it. At least shity penny arcade is respectable in that it has history and a strong market hold, CAD is just unfunny garbage. ontopic I want to see Lowtax verses Ebaums in the arena.
I like the concept, and I really like the parachute-thing model! However, unless you're going for a comical look, maybe you should try to make the vessel itself less boaty, but still keep the basic shapes you've got going? Keep it up!
Hmm, iam optimistic with this crew of actors and fx people. Game/comic movies are popular now (not like in the days of wingscommander) and that a good gamemovie can be made shows the Resident evil film - and the only weak moment in resident evil is the cgi licker crawling on the wall imho.
On that note I've done about 10 comics so far.. http://www.gamesmademe.com I've also got all those questions setup, just not sure where or who to send them to for interviews, if you guys have any suggestions let me know. Dek
Well then, is time to start promoting our work better, isn't it?. Artists are now like football players, the great ones make the greatest games. Like manga/comic author's, a name with associated quality. Wow, in this game have worked this artist! a must have! :P
I've thought this for years. The costumes were awesome in the comic. Also I hear Gambit has a plain American accent in the movie. Thats bullshit. Storm should've had an accent too, I think? Bleh. Less Brian Singers and more Jon Favreau's please.
i like the first one a lot, the second one seems kinda lazy. i think you should take better care that youre lines are more parallel when youre shading. i like the old comic book type colours in the second one
I doubt any of Star Wars fans cares about disnay, when Lucas Arts over 20 years build entire universe in movies, books, comics, games. What can I say. Disnay will go one way and fans another.
You're right, that comic isn't making the point you are trying to make at all. And your point doesn't have much evidence to support it... technology moves quite fast. It takes only about 5 years for things to change very significantly in the technology world.
It is generally legal. To be double safe, just make sure you mention it's fan art, or a personal redo of an existing piece of work. Existing artists have done similar things, like fan art of comic book caharacters. As long as it's derivative, you're fine.
