parts of it seem realistic but the overall proportions feel a bit wierd, like for example the eyes seem too small and perhaps too sunken and close together? -

Yeah, and when using it, try using a tree you made yourself. The one in the engine as an example "palm" works perfectly. It's only the trees I made. -
