We've signed a deal with MTV to showcase our game STACKED on televised tournaments, as well as other areas. MTV is actually opening a new games division now, with STACKED being their first game in line. Should be exciting to see what they do with our game http://www.gamespot.com/news/2005/07/06/news_6128064.html

The First Vigil Nights Live Stream is about to happen. Tonight will be one of our kick ass concept artists Rayph! http://www.livestream.com/vigilnights "Vigil Nights on Livestream. A little tiny small update since i barely had time to work on this project - a new shot i had in mind : Close up on the blade as the other shots do not showcase the texturing on the main subject of the image , i decided to create a zoom on the katana with an agressive DOF
Also, if you're looking for critique, you should post in 2D Showcase & Critiques. Digital Sketchbooks gets a lot less traffic, it acts as more of a loose parking area than an active crit zone. I can move this topic there if you like, let me know.
My personal statement would be reverse engineering is perfectly ok if you do it for educational purposes. If you own copy of game, there is nothing that can stop you. Problems may start when you start to showcase obtained models or textures. Till that time everything is ok.
May I ask what's the name of the company? Regarding the model, I can't tell you if you should or not showcase it, but I personally wouldn't, the textures look rather unfinished, don't forget to show the wireframe because its supposed to be a game model, and the render is not helping either.
Hey, so I made a video showcasing the problems I was having following the tutorial. Any help would be greatly appreciated so that I can properly continue on with the tutorial in creating some awesome terrain! Thanks! :) Couldn't get the video to embed, but got it to in the post below.
this is my first attempt ever at a high poly model. since i'm new to the forum i'm not quite sure how to showcase my work. any pointers? i'll be sure and post updates as i go and i plan on doing the low poly and texture very soon
