I have, i believe its a single developer. I have asked about zspheres and a base mesh building tool but the developer said that is not on the table at the moment and wont be for awhile. I did retry with the developers of putty 3D to see if they get back to me on a base mesh building tool. -

Looking at the DXR performance of the Pascal series GPUs, it makes sense why Nvidia initially locked it down to RTX GPUs only. A 1080ti can perform worse than a RTX 2060 in DXR games. The raytracing memes, jokes, and press would have been much worse for Battlefield and Metro. -

I would second the Stalker series and Metro 2033 (+ Last Light), Dishonoured, Thief 4, TF2, Last of us, Witcher 3. All good choices. Can't think of any more not already mentioned except for maybe Doom 3 (purely for its place in game art history?) -

Thanks for the suggestion. This however further complicates the setup for something which should be only a few clicks and repeatable for many objects. For now I am using xNormal as a substitute for Maya's inbuilt bakers. I am open and willing to retry TURTLE when I get time. -

Kurlo3d - As fast as Teddy´s fingers can code it! Glad to hear that you like it, and yes, not being able to rotate is hindering! Im sorry I cant give you a date or timeframe, but its very hard to estimate bug-fixing and the time it takes to repro them. -

I retried the procedure again and think I might be onto the problem. After generating a displacement map from a photo normal(picture of bricks) I realize that what I was left with was a displacement where actually only a few of the bricks were white and the rest was a black mass. -

Loading up Sandbox, attempting to load in models and view them, failing, retrying, failing, cursing at the program, failing, going to the help menu and clicking the "tip of the day" out of curiosity, and having the message "To close the editor press alt+F4." displayed. That, my friends, is epic lulz.
