You guys are awesome! I am new here and I am trying to learn some photo editing software, I am into Lightroom now, and I just thought of checking out your works, and I am just envious!
Decided his front arm was way too long, so I made it shorter. Also add some suit detail. Going to call his high poly done I think and move on to the enviro. and make his little webwings
Well those people were wrong. If you want to make environments, stick to UDK/other game engines, Rendering enviros in maya is a big nono. Also its alot easier to work with environments in an engine than in your 3d-package.
https://www.artstation.com/artbyalireza Here's the badass realistic enviro guy. Check out his 80lvl articles. Lots of goodies. Here is the specific article which discusses tree cards: https://80.lv/articles/alireza-khajehali-boosting-natural-environments/
Thank you! I don't know what I was thinking with that other set-up! The enviro colour is actually a light purple? But I still have some time. I'm gonna play around with the tube lighting next and try to emphasise it more!
Agreed with Darkleopard on weebly. I also moved from carbonmade to weebly which has much better options on designing your folio. I like you enviroment a lot!!!!! That futuristic dumpster is a bit disapointing when compared to your awesome environment..
Thats super cool that you have zbrush in mind- 4R7 really has some great features for enviroment creation with the nano mesh and aray mesh functions. Another question. I use Octane render. Is there a plan to make a calibration profile for Octane?
Holy cow. Your work is fantastic. I am so envious. The Jules Verne/HG Wells steampunk poster is something I would hang on my wall(and is sorta similar to a victorian sci-fi idea I've been bouncing around)
i am trying to bring this enviroment to life, my goal is to make it icelandic almost dead land what should i do to make it better than it is should i add more rocks on the ground? should i go for tessellation displacement?
Just got started on the textures for my main character. If anyone has some good tips on hand painting cloth textures i'm all ears :) I got the enviroment modelled up too and i'll post some shots of them later on.
