Are there any decent guides on painting wood? For example, a crate. I have that currently, but I'm unsure as to how i would go about highlights. Cheers
The trick with the texture is diffuse light baking, done in for example 3ds max? Or is there some raytracing function in the engine (baking done within the engine, like UDK)?
Add details that are not included in the Mesh for example is not okay. For the obvious reason, that this is a Texturing contest not a modeling contest. But we can add details through Ndo right??
Anyone care to set up a small example in code? basically the decal shouldn't penetrate the floor, but still be able to be cast down if the floor is far away.
