the handguard looks wrong, i think its down to the RIS rails. you have the whole hexagonal section extruded by itself where they should be joined like this; its a little too thin looking as well overall, but im not sure if thats true to life or not. materials look good though :D
@DougClayton4231 - I'm afraid that's out of my skill level, lol. I looked up some tutorials, but got lost :/ not sure I'm ready to tackle that yet. Maybe after I graduate in a couple months and have the free time to just sit down and learn something more advanced. :D
slowly turning into work, as games are kind of getting repetitive in their concepts and mechanics and i often play them with an increased professional interest (art/game design). especially true for mobile games i play. but every once in a while there comes a game like rocket league that is actually alot of fun :D
thanks for your comments guys :D , I'm glad you like it. I had some free time last days and I worked a bit on the pose, here is the first image of the posed warlock... with a crappy skinning, I have to improve it a lot, but skinning is not one of my better skills :S
Here´s my first SDK: http://www.megaupload.com/de/?d=85GSYI5F 690 tris 1 x 512x512 Texture The entire Visor can be blended out via alpha mapping. I hope the UV´s are bearable...i´ve remade them three times Have fun!
Maybe they should just go ahead and put this in the bargain bin before release, sorta like a pre-order special. :D "Pre-order and get 3 copies free, so we can make room for other games in our warehouse." :P Unreal Engine 2.5 for the win. . .on Xbox.
Man if this is true, that would be awesome :D Only thin stopping me from using dDo and nDo more often. Xoliul: You do have a detail creator inside dDo where you can make completely new effects, but are of course limited to what photoshop has to offer.
Ok Since it's been a while without any feedback or bugs, :) I assume it's stable enough to not be a beta anymore! :D This tool is free to use for whatever purpose (yes yes, that includes Commercial Stuff)! :) !! And if you are considerate enough, just send me a little mail or whatever saying thanks ^^
Little update guys... worked a couple of hours on it and amongst others: - changed software (da%n mu$£°x) - quickly made hair (let's face it, it has to be remeshed and pushed forward) - reworked some face features One again please leave comments and feel free to criticize :D
This looks good but stays quite true to the original repair tool from Battlefield (albeit with nicer textures :D ). If you want to differentiate yours you could maybe add a hose like a more traditional oxy acetylene cutting tool, and have the tank as a backpack or strapped to the soldier somehow.
