imo, getting one closest to your screen size is good. the strokes align nicely to your usual drawing habits if you've got a near 1:1 ratio (i've got an a4 oversize I think at home which is a bit smaller than my screen, but works out well) -

I just got a Fujitsu Lifebook laptop, and it rocks my socks off. The screen is exceptional, one of the brightest laptop screens I've seen and the colors are incredibly sharp. Its powerful enough to do everything I want. The only drawback is that its a little heavy due to its size, 17". -

Looks like you started with a too high rez. Unless you are experienced the work is always going to look like lumpyvill. Start low, get the layout right, then go in and define the sculpt. Amazing work lad. If I could add anything here, it could be lower the bloom on the snow over distance on terrain. Here: It brings a little too much distraction onto the screen. Also glossines on rocks is little too high, but its just for me. And I know, glossy and bright things looks awesome on screen, just not on that… -

well the iphone 4 has a 960x640 screen so thats not much different to the ipads 1024x768 screen so the ipad 1.0 should perform fairly well as it is, thats why Im curious what this new ipad can actually do when it comes to polycounts and texture res. If it really is even 2x faster than the ipad1.0 this could be amazing. -

Wow! There is so much amazing art on here that I'm intimidated to even show mine. Well, here are two sample screens from a game I've been working on for a while now. Each screen the player sees is laid out like a comic book. The background(borders) are something that we are testing to see what looks best as a backdrop. -

ok. so another question i have is how can i tell if the engine i am using renders only what is seen on screen or everything even what is not on screen?? i am interested in using UDK3 so info on how to tell how draw call works on each engine would be much appreciated thanks. :) -

Much better uv's now...however, i know that on screen the hand is same size as the head, but you could move the palm's uv's someplace else and make the head's uv twice the size , for more detail. make the uv's that are under his feet smaller, since they wont be getting any serious screen time, and use the space for…
