Maybe in Maya. But Max, the Nvidia drivers suck. At least on the Optimus line. The model "pop" around screen when you try to turn it. I even got an Nvidia rep to agree with me after I showed him. My ATI 4830? No issues.
One last thing: that 480 is like ~1 year old and cost what, $400? That's still a very good card. You don't have to spend $500 every year on a new GPU to work in game dev.
