Quite excited about trying it out, is it compatible with XP 32 bit and Maya 2009? Tried a few other real time shaders in Maya but they needed a 64bit system :/ Thanks for this man!
okay thanks glib that sounds more conventional, i think i know how to do everything you said besides the offset by 1.0 thing, is that necessary and or possible in maya 2009
This is looking really good. Are you going to add the inner part of the wheel well? It's pretty easy to see in this pic: http://www.autotraderclassics.com/images/a/2009/03/26/63912039/90287846_1238117567629.jpg
yeah, if you are expecting unreal tournament 2009, skip it. If you are digging rolling around with a few friends or even just playing a quick match with some strangers it's still pretty fun.
it's a long video. these two designers have an interesting discussion about game design, the industry, and such. it's a somewhat enjoyable and thought-provoking video you may want to check out. http://www.offworld.com/2009/07/weekend-watching-even-further.html
Hey! Are you using 3Dmax? Yes I've set the object's visibility to 0,9 in the object's properties. Thank you, I'll check the links you provided and try adding more edges. Thanks!
I'm not much of a Cars fan either, but this does look pretty cool. It reminded me of this Penny Arcade mini series that was pretty cool: http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2009/6/10/
Thanks a lot for overwriting my avatar spot with the hail penis. As worthy as it may be, I don't feel like editing again. http://www.polycount.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1435394&postcount=109
I used use the push modifier, but found the lattice mod to be more accurate and is just as easy to set up. http://donott-lcad.blogspot.com/2009/09/create-simple-wireframe-render-for-your.html
