In most systems a separate smaller texture for the glow/alpha bits makes sense. Simply using alpha on a 2048 doubles your vmem! On consoles where vmem is really small this wouldn't be an option. An additional draw call is probably not a big deal in this case, and you don't need a "second" uv channel to have two materials.… -

Thanks! yea ive been busting my ass. umm everything has light maps atm, and each mesh has it set to 128. i do have a small blue point light just behind the camera to give illusion of maybe and opening behind the camera. i think this may be the problem cause it gets rid of the cast shadows of the sandbags and vending… -

it took about 2 weeks. My teacher said when he started out at Massive Black they gave him an action figure and they said...model this as is...in pose... Seriously though, does anyone know why this is happening or have experienced it themselves? I had it happen moments ago by increasing my indirect scale from 1.2 to a whopping 1.8. Well i am using Quadro K4200 for few months, i have done few freelance projects with it. And the performance has been robust, i have used Maya, Mari, Photoshop, Unity and Unreal Engine.
