what exactly did you do to replicate the scale in your local model ? did you scale model inside Mudbox ? if so that is not suppose to work since mudbox doesnt have freeze transform and therefore the scale doesnt actually change. -

Quick update: added some reflection in the main circles texture. I done goofed in my screencap process (was in game instead of via cinematic) so you can see the gun I was using replicated 4 times, but here's a preview. -

The problem with using an external viewer is that it doesn't replicate the lighting conditions you'll see in-game. If you export your texture to the exact scene it's going to be used in you'll get a much more accurate idea of what you're going to have to fix. -

@Indi2410 Get Maya Indie. Its $300 a year (far more affordable than the other options) and shouldn't be too hard to set aside that much money for it if your not financially pressed. That eliminates potential problems with trying to get your hands on the program through 'other means'. About learning Maya, I get where your… -

One other important note that I'm not sure was stated is making 1 really high quality trim sheet is much easier and faster than replicating all that high quality detail over a unique uv set. Less high quality stuff > lots of mediocre stuff -

Hey there mate, Do be careful dredging the web ffor reference in regards to gore. I had a discussion Once with a few colleagues, it became our concencus that most people have been so conditioned by film, that a perfectly replicated wound, can be "inaccurate" or "cartoony" to the genersl audience. -

looks really nice, i like it but comparing it to the concept, its scale is off. I know that you maybe don't want to replicate the concept 100% but making it look bigger might give it more awesomeness, at least make those walls taller like in the ref image
